This Studio HP is in a whole different range compared to my older Studio's and my 60's Tribute.Īll I can say is WOW! The pickups on this guitar sound fantastic, with the 490R at the neck position and 498T+ in the bridge position.

I have had Studio's in the past and they are really nice guitars, even my 60's Tribute is a very fine instrument that plays/feels great. Don't be fooled by the fact that this is a Studio, it feels and plays like a higher end Gibson all the way through and through.
